One would surely run out of apt epithets when one would be asked to delve into the depths of the divine intervention. The steps of the Lord are simply immeasurable. Whenever there is a moment of crisis, a sign of clemency appears in the sky and showers comfort on us.
The Pandavas were not an exception in this regard. Rishi Durvasha, the son of sage Atri was famed for spewing the curse and at times without any reason. The sage with his disciples visited the Pandavas and asked for food ! The Pandavas with Draupadi were in incognito. They were blessed with Akshay Patra, (the endless vessel), but there was a condition! After Draupadi finished her lunch, the vessel wont work any more! And there was no one who could save them from Durvasha’s rage. Draupadi, with no option laid down, summoned the Lord in silence! The Lord appeared. Understood the problem and within a fraction of a second sought the solution. He asked Draupadi if there was a single corn in the vessel or not. Draupadi took out the single solitary corn from the vessel and gave it to the Lord. She asked the Lord to take a bite for his own and feed the rest to the whole world! The sage and his disciples’ stomach was full. The Lord’s act saved the whole world once more!
Every event signifies the presence of the Lord in every particle of the cosmos. We are not even a speck of dust in his creation. The earth from where we are born will take us back to her womb, once the time ripens! The mortal globe is far away from the soul of eternity. But we seldom realise the presence of this Lord in us. The Attama meets the Parattama to sustain the flow of the Supreme Lord’s wishes, believe it or not!!
