A much famed Sports Personality Subhash Bhowmick has breathed his last. He was suffering from kidney ailments. Dialysis was going on. But he developed a severe chest infection and died in a nursing home at Iqbalpur.
In 1970 Subhash won the Bronze medal in the International games. He executed his duties responsibilities as a Chief of three football teams with much efficiency and dedication. In 2013 the pioneer was felicitated with ‘Krira guru’ sonman by the State Government.
The State Chief Minister Miss Mamata Banerjee has expressed her deep condolence for the football player and his family. She added that his death has created an unavoidable void in the sports world.
