Lord Rama, though the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu had to envisage countless obstacles before he could succeed! The path was ridden with difficulties. It was not easy for him to establish dharma and root out adharma from the mother earth. He was too bound by the norms of the earth. He was not above the kind of tricks which normal humans use to continue with their existence. Sri Rama followed the codes in a strict pattern, which were further revealed as he killed Bali in a secret manner!
Bali was the Lord of Kishkindha. Brother of Sugriva and father of Angad. At one point of time there was a misunderstanding between Bali and Surgriva , which eventually took them to the battle field. The battle was going on,when Lord Rama shot his arrow and killed Bali. Lord Rama was hiding behind a tree during the entire course of action. Bali died on the Lord’s lap and justified himself. Sri Rama also pointed at the ill motives and actions of Bali. Both were correct from their perspectives! But the question is: Was Lord Rama right in his action? People would have different opinions as the paths of right and wrong are yet to be decided before they are being trodden!
People are often in a dilemma. They are never sure about their deeds. The reason is obvious. We are finite beings. We commit sins and repent later. We support injustice as we don’t have the courage to stand for justice. Our clandestine affair is the root of all evils! Here too the deeds and actions belonged to the same plane. However, a strong sense of introspective nature is essential to fathom the current of reality flowing under the thin veneer of appearance! An immoral act is not always immoral as interpreted on some conventional terms! There are millions and millions of things beyond the spheres of heaven and hell!!
