We fall in love. We burn in the flames of passion. We promise each other to remain for life. We smile over a candle night dinner. We hold each other’s hand to uphold the dignity of our emotions. But behind this curtain of love and commitment, lies a terrible truth of love. No ! I am not talking on the pushing of a fatal syringe into his back as the beloved gives him an embrace! It is rather about telling lies repeatedly. The reason is obvious. The lover always seeks the chance of meeting or dating someone else, despite having a fiancee! This is not only an act of deception but destroying the trust which forms the basis of a relationship! The act of telling lies in a dramatic manner, accompanied by countless excuses continues uninterruptedly, until the hour ripens and he is being caught red handed. After all a liar cannot afford to be a perfect actor all the time!
The fettle of the beloved becomes deplorable. Cries and haunts follow. The mind weakens and therefore cannot even think beyond and seeks revenge. But it would be an injustice if he goes scot free! Such an individual deserves nothing but an exemplary punishment. If any kind of possibility crops up, entrap him to teach him a lesson! But unfortunately, all these turn out to be imaginative! The beloved agrees to put up with all the pangs but not ready to seek the help and support of our law to punish the evil soul! She prefers to leave everything on time. But this ought not to be her choice. She must take all the possible measures to make him understand his sin! On the other hand, if all her attempts turn out to be abortive, she must walk out of his life to heal the wounds and strengthen the ground under her feet!
It is really a pointless exercise to continue with such a relationship which does not promise to reach the point of culmination! “Living in denial” breeds nothing but anguish and torment. Such a mental make up can even make you take the worst decision of your life!! Hence it is always a better option to stay away from such ignoble breeds, foster a new relation ( if the heart and soul permits) with someone trustworthy and live a life of choice! A true happiness will never leave you. Smile will always be your companion. After all, “if you treat me like an option, I will leave you like a choice”. It is apt to quote the words of Lord Krishna: ” Betraying some one in the name of love is the worst sin ever committed in the whole world”. Any view?
