They were born in the same month, one in 1863 and another in 1897 to our beloved motherland called India. A difference of thirty four years, yet they were so synonymous in their perspectives, which were not only incisive but practical too! They were Swamiji and Netaji whose names still echo in every particle of the air. We are going to celebrate the latter’s birthday amid loads of mirth and laughter. He was a brilliant alumnus, a marvelous orator and above all a true son of this soil whose dreams were to drive out the British and restore complete Swaraj! But it was not an easy task to wipe out the 200 years reign of Imperialism at the very outset of the story. However, Netaji didn’t give up. His miraculous escape from his house in Calcutta to various other parts of the world to unite the enemy forces of the “King Race” is still something rarest of the rare attempts to discover at this present hour! But he did, suffered, failed and finally disappeared, adding an ever green mystery to the annals of our history!
As the tantalizing waves of the sea gradually lap up the mellowed rays of the evening sun, we too have embedded the true tales of his sacrifice in our mind. Indeed different from the rest who too laid down their lives at the altar of motherland for her true liberation from tyranny. An unforgettable hero! JAI HIND!!
