Kunal Roy
The dusk sets in,
The moon appears with her radiance –
in the blue bathed sky,
The waves in front,
lashing against the sandy shore,
receding like mandalas!
I desire to watch the lovely face –
of yours –
How mysterious you are!
How passionate you are!
The ocean reflects the moon shine,
An abrupt transformation!
The rains touch the ground,
We are drenched to our feet!
The drops dripping from your hair,
Slithering down your eyes, cheeks and lips,
And I-
gradually remove the drops!
The touch of love,
Still spawns a fear in me!
Love like the sand of the beach,
Streams between the fingers,
The moon wash night,
If silhouetted,
The world will shatter,
Love will burn,
Honey estranged –
from moon!
Lose of pertinence,
Lose of sustenance,
Lose of purpose!!
